How To: Using a DK-93 Snap Press for Resin Snaps

Do you have questions about how to use a DK-93 snap press? In this blog post, we'll cover how to use the dies for resin snaps.

Deciding on the dies to use:
If you wish to insert studs (male) or sockets (female), choose the appropriate upper die for the press--the lower cap die will always be the same.

The stud die will have a larger hole, and the socket die will have the smaller hole.

Inserting the dies:
Choose the correct sized die set and insert the cap die into the large hole on the bottom of the snap press:

You'll then want to take the stud or socket die you want to use and, positioning the die in the hole above the cap die, screw the shank securely into place.

You're now ready to start pressing snaps!

Learn more about how to use our snap presses on the Assunta Store website.

Featured Product: Animal Friends Tiny Diaper Cover

One of our newer Tiny Diaper Cover prints is this one; we call it Animal Friends!

It features adorable frogs, ducklings, elephants, and giraffes frolicking together on a white background.

The material for this particular print is a Poly PUL; it's a soft, light-weight polyester fabric that has the laminate exposed on the inside, making the diaper cover wipeable.

Our Tiny Diaper Covers are ideal for very small/newborn babies until they're big enough to fit our One Size Diaper Covers.

What do you think of this print, or our Tiny Diaper Covers in general? Share your thoughts in the Comments section.

How to: Pay through PayPal without an Account

Do you really need a Paypal account to make a purchase in our store? The good news is that you don't; Paypal also processes credit card payments without requiring customers to open a PayPal account.

To pay without making an account, you need to choose Paypal when you check out in Assunta Store – the first option in the picture shown below that says, "PayPal Website Payments Standard."

Then, it should take you to another screen. At the bottom there will be an option that says “Don’t have a Paypal account?” Choose that one.

Once you do, it will take you to a screen allowing you to pay using your credit card without a Paypal account, like this:

Let us know if this helps!

If you have any more questions about this process, don't hesitate to contact us!

How To: Use Reward Points

Each $25 USD you spend in Assunta Store earns you one reward point towards your next purchase. Points are deposited to your Assunta Store account about one month after you order.

You can substitute those points for cash on future orders that you make. When you go to check out, there are several payment options, and one is to use your reward points.

Choose that payment option FIRST, and all of the reward points currently in your account will be applied toward the cost of your order. You’ll see that $1 will be deducted from your order total for each reward point you had in your account.

After that, you can use Paypal to check out as usual.

You can check the reward points balance in your account any time – just log in and click “My Account”; reward points are listed in the box near the bottom of the page:

If you need any other help with reward points, just let us know! We'll be happy to answer your questions.

How To: Place a Local Order in Beijing

Sometimes we receive e-mails asking us how to order from Assunta Store and have it delivered within the Beijing area. There are two ways you can do this:

Method 1: Online
Order and pay online, using a credit card or PayPal account. If you do not enter your shipping address in Chinese characters, please email it to us separately.  We will ship your order through a local courier, such as ShunFeng Express.

Method 2: Cash on Delivery
If you live inside the 5th ring road, or in the Shunyi area and prefer to order using RMB, we can enter your order into the store as a manually. We’ll deliver it to you personally, collecting cash on delivery.

To place an order this way, you need to e-mail us a list of the items you wish to order from Assunta Store. One convenient way to do this is to collect the items you want into a shopping cart and then email us a screenshot of your cart.

When you email us, please let us know:
  1. Whether you already have a customer account in our store, and if so, what email address is associated with that.
  2. What items you’d like to order – please include information about options available such as size, color, etc.
  3. Shipping address in Chinese, if possible.
  4. Delivery phone number, and whether this person can speak to our driver in Chinese.
  5. Best time to deliver -  when someone will be at your delivery address to receive your package.

Once your order is created in the system, you'll receive an order confirmation from the store, as well as a separate confirmation e-mail confirming the total payment in RMB and with info about setting up a convenient delivery time.

Hopefully this post answers your questions about this way of ordering from us; of course, if you have any other questions, you can feel free to e-mail them to us, as well.
